Cab Safety & Monitoring Consent

To ensure the safety and security of passengers, drivers, and Company assets, Company-provided transportation cabs are equipped with dual-facing dashcams, audio recording devices, GPS tracking, and emergency monitoring systems.

By checking the consent box in the app and tapping "I Agree & Continue", you acknowledge, understand, and provide your explicit consent to the following:

  • Dashcam Recording

Your journey will be recorded via internal (cabin-facing) and external (road-facing) safety dashcams and audio recording devices.

  • Location Tracking

The Company tracks and processes live GPS data, including pickup/drop locations, routes, and trip durations.

  • Purpose of Processing

Recorded footage and data will be used strictly for passenger safety, incident investigations, accident reconstruction, and dispute resolution.

  • Data Access & Sharing

Data is strictly confidential. It will only be accessed by authorized personnel or shared with law enforcement and transport vendors when required by law or during an incident investigation.

  • Mandatory Requirement

Agreeing to these safety monitoring terms is required to use the Company's cab service.

By selecting "I Agree & Continue" in the app, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and the detailed Cab Safety & Monitoring Policy below.

1.Scope and Overview

This Policy applies to all employees, contractors, and authorized personnel ("Users" or "Passengers") utilizing corporate cab services provided or arranged by the Company. This policy governs the use of smart dashcams and telemetry systems deployed across our transport network.

2.Dashcam Specifications & Data We Collect

Company-authorized transport vehicles are equipped with connected commercial dashcam systems. The Company processes the following data:

  • Internal Video Footage: Cabin-facing dashcam video to ensure passenger and driver safety.

  • External Video Footage: Forward/road-facing dashcam video to record traffic conditions and accidents.

  • Audio Media: Cabin audio recording captured simultaneously with video.

  • Telemetry & Geolocation: Live and historical GPS coordinates, vehicle speed, route deviations, and trip timestamps.

  • Incident Metadata: Logs triggered by sudden braking, impact alerts, or the vehicle's emergency panic button.

3.Purpose of Data Collection

Data from vehicle dashcams and tracking systems is processed exclusively for:

  • Passenger & Driver Safety: Verifying the physical safety of occupants and preventing harassment or misconduct.

  • Accident Reconstruction: Providing objective video evidence in the event of traffic collisions, insurance claims, or road disputes.

  • Complaint Resolution: Investigating specific behavioral complaints regarding drivers or passengers.

  • SLA & Compliance Monitoring: Ensuring transport vendors adhere to speed limits, authorized routes, and safety protocols.

  • Legal Obligations: Responding to valid subpoenas, law enforcement requests, or regulatory audits.

4.Data Access Controls

  • No Live Streaming: Dashcam feeds are not actively monitored in real time under normal operations, preserving passenger privacy.

  • Role-Based Access: Access to recorded dashcam footage, audio, and GPS logs is strictly restricted to authorized representatives within Global Security, Human Resources, and the Legal/Compliance teams.

  • Trigger-Based Review: Footage is only pulled and reviewed following a formal incident report, emergency alert, or safety audit request.

  • Audit Logs: The backend automatically records an unalterable log every time an administrator requests or downloads dashcam media.

5.Third-Party Sharing

The Company does not sell or commercially exploit transit data. Data may be shared only with:

  • Law Enforcement: Police or judicial authorities when legally compelled or when investigating a crime.

  • Insurance Providers: Relevant video segments may be shared to settle automotive insurance claims resulting from accidents.

  • Transport Vendors: Limited operational data may be shared with fleet owners to address driver performance issues.

6.Data Retention and Deletion Schedule

  • Standard Rolling Deletion: Routine, incident-free dashcam footage, audio recordings, and GPS logs are automatically overwritten or permanently deleted after a rolling cycle.

  • Investigation Holds: If footage is flagged as evidence for an ongoing accident investigation, disciplinary action, or legal case, it will be securely archived and retained until the matter is legally resolved.

7.Information Security

  • Encryption: Footage stored locally on the dashcam memory card is secured.

  • Tampering Prohibited: Any attempt by a passenger to block, unplug, tilt, or tamper with the dashcam lenses or wiring is a serious policy violation and will result in disciplinary action.

8.Consent and Service Eligibility

  • Use of the corporate cab network is contingent upon accepting these safety terms.

  • Employees who opt out or withdraw consent will be restricted from booking rides via the corporate transport application, and coordinating alternative daily commuting will become their personal responsibility.

  • If consent is withdrawn, historical footage captured during past trips will still be retained for the remainder of the 180-day cycle to maintain legal compliance logs.
